Alot of bites come off of the fall, when the bait is casted and falling on a semi-slack line the Swimbait tail is kicking during the fall that’s why the 1/16 oz is so critical and has the natural kick that any baitfish has. I like casting it letting it hit the bottom if it don’t get bit right away, slow roll it back to the boat. Even with a Tiny Swimbait it has a massive drawing power of a big bait.

The hook keeper is excellent and holds a Swimbait very well fish after fish, if it does tear, a drop of loctite super glue will last all day fish after fish!

It can be fished in any depth of water, I will fish the 1/16 oz even over 40+ ft of water, with light fluorocarbon line it can get down where you want it, fish will come up to eat this bait from a LONG Distance away, paired with a Swimbait is a deadly combo! Such as this monster limit pictured below, fish ate in 40ft of water in late winter/early spring pre-spawn conditions in Southern California. Great for all species of fish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth bass, Striped bass, Spotted bass, Crappie, Trout, Bluegill ! Even works great in saltwater applications for all game fish.
